Hi,
I am looking at a company where there are 4 different locations/sites (soon
to be 5).
There are currently 74 users, 35 on the main, 20 on the secondary, 10 on
another, 12 on another and the new site will have 8 to begin with.

They have a lot of applications where they need to make sure that the info
is the same no matter which site they go to!!

Is it feasible to put in Terminal services on the main site and have all the
other users connect this way??
Will it work efficiently over and ADSL line or will I need to look at
putting in various leased lines??
Is there a more efficient way to do this to make sure that downtime is
minimised and the clients see the same data regardless of which site they
have to work from??
Would it be more efficient to put in Backoffice throughout (as they are
using exchange etc) and have some kind of file/data replication??

TIA

Terry

this is exactly what TS is for. They all log into 1 place, it will all be
the same and no downtime. There are some TS papers and a great 3rd party
tool for it at my site Applauncher.com

make sure you put in a HUGE terminal server. I am
running twin xeon 3 Ghz processor w/4Gb ram for access
from about 70 users total(50 in house; 10 each from two
different branch offices.

I would almost consider a 2nd server at that size.
