I have two SBS2K servers in two different domains.
They both have a broadband internet connection.
Is it possible to replicate / synchronize data between
both exchange servers in this situation ?
I'm trying to get the mailbox from a single user
available in both domains.

Regards and thanks in advance,

Frans.

on SBS A make a 'contact' that points to the user on SBS B, then copy
everything received by the user from A to B.

on SBS B hide the user from the GAL and remove him from any distribution
groups, replacing the entries with a 'contact' pointing to his SBS A
account.

Watch out for circular referencing.

Thanks for the quik respons but i'm not
sure if that's gonna work.
There are a few extra's (sorry forgot to mension) :

- Domain A has a registred internet domain;
- Domain B is a local domain;
- All incoming "internet" mail is routed
to the original mailbox in domain A;
- All other users in both domains can only
send "internet" mail not receive;
- All users in both domains can send and
receive internal mail (but only in the
domain where they were created).

Regards and thanks again,

Frans.

There is no native way to replicate mailboxes in any version of Exchange,
unfortunately. What's your goal - is this for failover, disaster recovery,
???
