OL2002 Strange problem

We have a very strange problem on a XP Pro Workstation with Outlook 2002.
(SBS2000 Svr / Exch Svr 2000)When I log onto this w.stat it takes approx 3-4
seconds to open emails for even move from one to the next on the listings
the inbox or indeed the 'sent' box, deleting an email takes ages also.
Otherwise it is operating quite normally in Calendar or notes or indeed
anywhere else - This issue only started yesterday.

The PC is a fast Dell PC, and if I open the same user mailbox on another
(incidentally much slower machine and open the same emails from there it
works perfectly!)

Has anyone seen this before or have any idea what can cause this strange
situation - I've tried 'detect and repair', and done update from Msoft
website - all made no difference to the problem....

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry just to add, when I log out of the problem Wstat, log back in as
another user then go into outlook it is working perfectly OK.
Is related therefore to one particular user within email messages only! very
strange

Hi John,

Have you checked the Outlook profile? It should have Microsoft Exchange
Server-service, Outlook Addressbook.
Any other services in there?

Hi Marina
Thanks - no just Exch Svs service. This is really strange - it simply must
be user specific on this wstat alone, because same login other wstat =
perfect! Different login on problem wstat = perfect! But where to look -
that's the problem. We did have a link on this user to Goldmine DBase -
which we removed but this made no difference - I'm really at a loss to know
what else to check, but it's near impossible to use the email part of OL on
this PC - it's literally crawling
Any more thoughts please

Thanks - now solved - did a restore (XP Pro) and cleared the problem -
whatever it was!
