I need some recommendations for spam blocking software
for our SBS2000 server. We have been using client side
solutions, but our firm has grown to the point that we
need to migrate to a server based solution. I'd like to
hear from people who have had experience with this, both
good and bad, and the packages they have used.

Thanks for the help.

Jeff

What AV are you using? Trend Micro C/S/M suite has eManager which has proven
very effective for me when dealing with spam.

We are using Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition.

I like and use Vamsoft's Open Relay Filter, available from vamsoft.com. It's
reasonably priced (about $100.00 US I think), and dropped our spam volume
about 85% with no known false positives (good emails dropped).

My accounts have their email delivered straight to the Exchange
server. We use Trend CSM which scans email coming in for virus and
spam. You should be using
http://enterprisesecurity.symantec.com/products/products.cfm?ProductID=64&EID=0
if you are trying to do the same thing. I Hate Spam has worked at one
account that was not on CSM.
