Following up:
A google search found the following solution in someone else's thread. It
worked for me:
I believe I had this identical problem after applying W2KSP4.
Symptoms are that
http://localhost/SUSAdmin would open with a 500
error and an additional error code (which I don't remember offhand).
VBSCRIPT.DLL somehow became unregistered. Fix is to run regsrv32 as
so:
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Open SUSAdmin again; this should work.
