I have a â??Smart Hostâ?? relay host (by name) defined under â??Outbound
Connectionsâ?? of the SMTP server properties on my SBS 2000. Out bound
messages are not being sent to the smart host and they are being delivered
directly by the SBS SMTP server. What else to I need to configure to get all
outbound mail to be sent to the smart host?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Settings on the connector take precedence over the virtual server. So, you
would have to change the connector instead. However, my recommendation is
that you rerun ICW and put the smarthost there (trust the wizards).

More info on (theres a section on how to do it)...
