Is the MS Windows 2000 Advanced Server the same operating
system and components as the MS Windows Small Business
Server? I don't believe it is. I just received my
server and had asked for MS Windows Small Business
Server. The OS that is loaded is the MS Windows Advanced
Server 2000.

Thanks for your help.

You are correct...

The underlying OS in SBS is Windows 2000 Server (not advanced nor
datacenter).

That's not right -- sounds like they preloaded the wrong OS. Did you get
the correct CD's?

No, they're not the same thing. SBS has a much different feature set than
AS.
