Hi,

I have a quick question I hope someone can help me with.

I have Small Business Server 2000 with 25 Cals,

Does this mean I can have 25 users connect via Terminal Services that is
included in this package ?

Many Thanks For Your Time.

You would not want 25 users connecting via TS.

Way way too much load on a box already doing a lot.

Hello Dave,

Yes, you can run SBS 2000 in Application Mode, however it is not
recommended, especially for the amount of users you have specified.
Additionally, this is not recommended on a domain controller due to the
security rights of users who can log on locally to the server. For more
information refer to http://support.microsoft.com/?id=282009.

I hope this helps.

Guys and Gals,

We have not answered his question but rather voiced an opinion about what he
done or is about to embark on. Could we not have answered the question and
then also included our opinion?

Regardless, I would like to know the answer to his question.

Dirk-Thomas

Good point - one I nearly made myself when I first read the post but I
stopped myself because I realised that it would turn the thread from its
original subject into a mass debate about nettiquette and I would probably
be flamed for top posting or something.
