I have a couple of machines that are able to browse the internet but VERY
VERY VERY slow and often times the internet connection just simply times
out...

After troubleshooting to the best of my ability I have determined that if I
go into the IE Explorer Options and disable the Proxy Server, the client
machine suddenly comes to life and is able to browse at the regular speed.
Any ideas??

Background Info:
100BaseT Network
Brand New Dell Server 1yr Ago
4Gigs RAM
Dual Processor
DSL Modem
20 Clients
Only 8-10 using internet or server resources at any one time.

Hi Chris,

Does the ipconfig/all on the clients show that everything is pointing to the
server? Is the Firewall client installed and is 'auto discovery' turned off?
