Hello,

Just wondering anyone know the size limit of both priv and pub information
in exchange? I'm really afraid of hitting the max. size limit and get my
exchange server crash ...

Thanks in advance!

Private store (add priv.edb & priv.stm) is 16Gb.

I believe the public has the same 16Gb limitation.

Don't wait, because it's a pain to fix once you reach this as the
information store will shut down. Once you hit 16Gb it goes off-line, then
you
need to patch exchange and make a registry edit to temporilarily extend the
database to 17Gb. This gives you enough breathing space to delete
some mail etc and do an off-line defragmentation of the Exchange database.

This apparently has been extended (to about 70Gb) in SBS 2003 with all the
latest service packs, which gives you an upgrade path.....

the question was asked in an SBS2000 groups, so, I gotta suggest,

That 16-75GB increase is for Exchange 2003 SP2 (last I knew in beta), not
2000.
