Hi Guys:

Have a simple question here. A user keeps leaving his computer on every
night with some applications, files, email open. If i go to the user profile
and restrict his logon hours, will the system force a logoff and also
before forcing the logoff close every open files and applications that he
might have open? Just want to make sure no applications will be affected and
all the files are closed properly.

Thanks as usual for the excellent support,

Denise

you can go into default domain controller security policies and enable =
and define the "force logoff" policy

but it doesn't cleanly close anything he/she might have open.

Just setting logon hours permitted in account does not force a =

and even that will not cleanly close the applications prior to logging =

you can go into default domain controller security policies and =
enable and define the "force logoff" policy

Hi Guys:

Have a simple question here. A user keeps leaving his computer =
on every
night with some applications, files, email open. If i go to =
the user profile
and restrict his logon hours, will the system force a logoff =
and also
before forcing the logoff close every open files and =
applications that he
might have open? Just want to make sure no applications will =
be affected and
all the files are closed properly.

Thanks as usual for the excellent support,

Denise
