Just setting logon hours permitted in account does not force a =
logoff...you have to go to the additional step I mentioned in the first =
post.
and even that will not cleanly close the applications prior to =
logging the user off

you can go into default domain controller security policies =
and enable and define the "force logoff" policy
but it doesn't cleanly close anything he/she might have open.

Hi Guys:
Have a simple question here. A user keeps leaving his =
computer on every
night with some applications, files, email open. If i go to =
the user profile
and restrict his logon hours, will the system force a =
logoff and also
before forcing the logoff close every open files and =
applications that he
might have open? Just want to make sure no applications will =
be affected and
all the files are closed properly.
Thanks as usual for the excellent support,
Denise
