Probably an unfortunate coincidence.
The H323 errors have existed long before msblast. You'd get blasted if you
didn't patch for it, regardless of whatever else you may have had going on
at the time.
The worm and patching or not patching and becoming infected has added a
layer of complexity and confusion.
