Service PAck 4 now available

Can I just install sp4 for windows 2000 - or will
Microsoft come out with a new service pack especially for
SBS2000?

Yes install it it's the same version for windows 2000.

Stop all antivirus services.
Stop all exchange services
Stop all iis services
Stop all sql server services.

Make sure you have completed a full back up your box before you proceed.
Also please check the option to keep the previous version backed up.

We are always pushing "good std practices".
Only one or two people have reported problems installing SP4, but by and
far, SP4 has gone in just fine for everyone else.

Has anybody been able to do the update to SP4 with HFNetChkPro4? This is
the first SP I have tried to push with this software last night and I
recieved an error that the patch wasn't available. I am just wondering if I
have a setting wrong or it's just not available where this software
downloads the patches from.

Do you have the new .76 version of Hfnetchk? [But honestly no I didn't do this
from a push... I'm paranoid and any big Service release like this I do it
manually on the server..

No I didn't do the update yet. I am pretty paranoid also but last night I
felt like living on the edge. ;-)
I might give it a try again tonight if I am feeling lucky.
