Server been running for a year no probs
Had an issue with veritas and needed to reboot server to stop a job.
When it rebooted BSOD...inaccessible boot device (RAID 5 Dell server)
Wouldn't boot from floppy.... same error.
Last known configuration didn't work either
Recovery console showed D, E , F directory listing fine.
C drive dir said...damn thought I wrote it down but it wouldn't list the
contents
Ran chkdsk and it said found errors and corrected it...no indication what
though.
Server booted up ok...Logged on ok ,no indication of any probs.
However clients couldn't receive logon scripts, on checking, found access
denied, in addition ALL SBS default shares, company folder, clientapps5,
users folder etc same problem...access denied. All self ceated shares were
fine. Admnistrator logged onto workstation shares were fine.
Just reinstalled veritas remotely, rebooted......it aint come
back........another early start....
