I have an issue with the ISA Server. It appears that after installation of
Service Packs or Hotfixes that the ISA Listeners on Port 80 and 443 were
re-enabled. Also, I noticed that port 1720 (Microsoft Netmeeting) is open on
my SBS Servers. There are no packet filters allowing this in. My
understanding was that if there wasn't a packet filter then it would deny
access! My concern is that what other ports are open by default on ISA
server!

Anyone else noticed these behaviors?

Thanks,
John

Thanks for the advice re rejoining a domain. Now here's
one for you.

Go to the site www.grc.com and use Shields Up to test your
ports for open/closed/stealth. The accompanying notes are
very useful.

I have managed to totally stealth my sbs2k. I put a
blocking filter on port 1720.

Good luck

Hi Tom - I tried putting a blocking filter on port 1720. I tried in all 3
directions - but it didn't make all ports stealth. what settings did you use
for the packet filter?

Thanks for the Response.

It sounds like ISA leaves that port open. I know how to close it but
shouldn't it be closed by default?
