I have just got around to installing SQL, but I have found that there is
only Windows Authentication only, not SQL.
From the Server properties in Ent. Manager, I changed it, hit OK, but the
setting didn't stick.

Is there something wrong, or is this the nature of the SBS version?

Thanks

Bob

Something wrong. It does install with Windows only by
default, but that is changeable (do it all the time).
Try it again (Have you stopped and started SQL after the
change?) Shouldn't have to, but can't hurt.

Thanks for that.
It was my own dumb fault.
I was trying from a remote PC with only Ent Manager installed.
After what you said, I got off my bum, walked to the server and it worked
there. It did ask to restart the service's too.

Thanks
