Security Groups

we have a sbs 2000 machine that is the Domain Controller(all the 5 FSMO
roles actually) in our network.

I was testing out Exchange Server 2007 which seemed to require the
Windows 2000 mode (and not Mixed Mode, which supports Pre-Windows
2000). I changed that from Mixed Mode to Windows 2000 mode. Now the
permissions for all the Security Groups seem to be messed up. Is there
anyway I can change the mode of all the security groups to Windows 2000
instead of mixed mode.

I doubt that installing Exchange 2007 on an SBS 2000 is a supported config
and most likely not on SBS 2003 either. You'd be much better installing it
on a separate box.

ohh I am sorry..I wasn't being clear enough.

I installed Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition ...and added that to the
domain. I was trying to install Exchange Server 2007 on that machine
not on sbs itself. one of the requirements for Exch 2007 was that the
server be a Schema Master..that change didn't go quite smoothly..so I
wanted to revert it back. the schema master is the sbs machine again.
but the mode has been changed to Windows 2000 (from Mixed
mode)..irreversibly so.

the only other thing I can do now is to change the security groups to
Windows 2000(instead of mixed mode).

the change I made from mixed mode to Windows 2000 was done on the sbs
machine itself.
