ISSUE
=====

One user has access (see contents/browse sub-folders/files but CAN NOT
open files) to a folder (on SBS2k server) they should NOT.

=========
STRUCTURE
=========
\\server
shared folder (they SHOULD see this)
un-shared subfolder1 (they SHOULD see this)
un-shared subfolder2 (they should NOT see this)

For SBS2k server, are folder security permissions set anywhere
except...

Windows Explorer...
\\Server\Folder Properties (Sharing, Sharing Permissions)
\\Server\Folder Properties (Security, Advanced, Inheritable
Permissions)

SBS2000 Administrative Console...
Small Business Server Console-Small Business Server-Shares
Small Business Server Console-Small Business Server-Users
Small Business Server Console-Small Business Server-Security Groups

====
NOTE
====
Client PCs synchronize their "My Documents" folder to the server in
"\\server\shared folder\subfolder?".

==========
BACKGROUND
==========
1 Server - SBS2k (patched)
3 PCs - XP (patched)
3 Users who always use their own computer

Here's a KB that tells how to manually set the permissions on the User
shares. If I'm reading you right, this will accomplish what you're looking
for - users will only be able to browse or access files in their own folders
(they can see all the folders but not their contents). Members of
administrator security groups will have full access to everything.
