This is a request that was just thrown at me last night after =
hours...they only have one scanner and it is probably too old to be =
efficient enough to scan 15,000 one-page documents. For this effort, =
there will not be any multi-pagers. Hardware shuoldn't be a problem, =
even if I have to rent a high speed scanner. =20
Thanks!

Good thought. Even if you scan it as a multi-page document, then =
export it to a TIFF file, the export process will create separate files =
for each page. Just make sure you select a TIFF format other than =
multi-page. If the file is named A in PaperPort, it'll export as A1, =
A2....
I'd try to do at most a few hundred pages at a time. Be careful when =
you export them - you won't want to create 500 files on your desktop, =
for example.
Other programs can probably do this as well - see if you have anything =
that will let you scan as a multi-page, then export to a single-page =
format like group 4 tiff.
Won't your scanner create individual files directly?

Maybe scansoft's paperport software... =
http://www.scansoft.com/paperport/ I have been using it do somewhat the =
same for years

A client has 15,000 different copies of the same 1 page document. =
Anyone know of a software solution they can use that will allow them to =
feed a stack of these docs, and save them each into individual files, =
preferably with a relevant file name to find it later?
Odd request....:-)
