Hi there

I have a customer who is getting heaps of Sobig virus emails. I have been
experimenting with the SMTP filter that comes with SBS2000 but it is saying
that because the SMTP server and ISA are on the same computer it is not
going to work. Has anyone used these filters with SBS2000??

Thanks

Daniel.

Mariette has all the time. Have you installed the ISA feature pack and what
exact errors are you getting?

Hi Daniel,

You do have ISA FP1, right Daniel? That's where you want to filter.

To get SMTP filter working on SBS (with Exchange and ISA on the same box),
you need to disable the socket pooling on SMTP, then setup the server
publishing rule to publish the SMTP server. So instead of the default
(packet filtering), you need a server publishing on smtp.
