I have a SBS 2k machine on my network. The way I had it join my existing
network was to install only 2k server on it, transfer the FSMO roles and
then upgrade to SBS2k.

Everything worked just fine.
but what I am seeing is that when I create a new user on the SBS machine, it
creates the user on the other server (like it should) but it has the account
disabled. And on the 2k machine when looking at a users Properties, the tabs
for exchange, email address, etc is not there.

I doubled checked to be sure the FSMO roles are all set on SBS and there
are.

Also, if I create an account on the regular 2kServer machine, the account
gets replicated to the SBS machine, but when I go to the SBS machine, the
tab for Email Address's is not there.

Any ideas???

John,

A simple but overlooked setting in AD, User and Computer...

Have you gone up and clicked on the advanced under view?
This will show you more of the options.

Or is it in the user properties for the user that the basic email entry
isn't displayed??

if that is not the problem can you explain it a little better?

When I am on the NON SBS Server looking at a user that was created on SBS,
and I look at the user properties, there is nothing there except teh basic
tabs. When I look at that same user on the SBS machine, all the tabs are
there.

When I am on the SBS machine and look at the properties of a user that was
created on the NON SBS machine, the Exchange tab for EMAIL address is not
there. The 3 other exchange tabs are, but not the one that allows me to
give that person an email address.

That is quite normal. You should only create users on the SBS with the Add
user wizard.
