I have a client that wants to upgrade windows 2k server to SBS2k3 STANDARD, which, from what I have read will work fine. They already owned a license of SQL server 2k standard, so chose not to upgrade to SBS2k3 Premium to save money. Question is, will SQL 2k standard run on SBS2k3 STANDARD

Thank

It is my understanding that it is possible to do so. However, it might be a
bad business move... if you put SQL2k on a SBS Std box you will need to get
SQL CALs for those users (unless you have less than 5). You can probably
sell the SQL2k copy on ebay and with that money get SBS2k3 Prem Ed!
