We are changing ISP providers.
I now have 2 routers, 1 from each ISP. The previous ISP has not been
notified of the soon to be DNS Address changes from my Domain Name provider
(Verisign).
Can I use one router for email and another for Internet access?
It may take Verisign a couple of days to change the DNS addresses.
I did not want to have any email interruption. This way I could still get
old email from my original ISP, while I am waiting for my DNS rollover from
my Domain Name Provider.
I have 3 nic cards in my SBS2K Server and right now I have Intranet on 1 nic
and the 2 routers on the other 2 nics. I have done nothing in SB2K to
introduce the new router to the domain.
You follow my drift here?

Hi Nathan -

Shouldn't be a problem - re-run the ICW and select the nic attached to the
new ISP's router as your external interface. All outbound internet access
will be directed through this interface. Since you were previously using
the old ISP's router, its subnet should already be excluded from the LAT in
ISA. As a result, ISA will treat it as an external interface. Since packet
filters in ISA are not interface specific, ISA should be listening for
inbound traffic on port 25 on both external interfaces (old router & new
router). As a result, you should still be able to receive email via SMTP
from the old ISP's connection. In addition, you shouldn't have any break in
email, because as soon as the DNS changes propogate, email will be sent to
the new public IP address which you are already listening for email on.
