I am attemopting to install the SP1a to my SBS2K server ot resolve the
15 user limit on the POP Mail COnnector. When I start the install I get
an error saying that the install requires a minimum of 125Mb for the
ClientApps share.

The share "ClientApps5" exists on a 120Gb RAID array. This is not the
original location, but it certainly has enough free space.

Does anyone know how to get around this issue.

Check this out (2nd item):

On an unrelated note-> I must say that personally I wouldn't use the pop3
connector with more than 15 accounts anyway (heck, I wouldn't use it with
more than 5). You should be looking at switching to SMTP... I'm surprised
you haven't experienced any issues so far.

Javier,

I have experoenced numerous problems with the POP3 connectors. Is there
a good article on configuring SMTP to replace the POP3 connector? The
problems I have had with the SMTP threads I have read is the reliance on
DNS. I am fairly ignorant when it comes to configuring and using DNS
within the domain and how to get updated DNS information from the internet.

I have a one NIC server and use a Router/Firewall to connect to our
company DSL service. Also, we do not use ISA and in fact it is not even
installed on our server.

Any advice is appreciated

Robert

Switching is quite easy... just make sure you forward port 25 from your
router to the SBS box and follow this instructions:
http://msmvps.com/javier/archive/2004/10/25/16621.aspx

When I wrote that I was thinink of SBS2k3 (not 2k) but its the exact same
procedure. If you still have questions... just ask away.
