I've got an SBS 2000 Server that can't keep its Fax Service running.
The service has four dependencies attached to it, all of which are running
happily.
Whenever I manually start the service, it runs for all of a minute, then
stops itself, with nothing written to the log.
The modem is a USR external serial, with updated firmware.
Has anyone seen this before, or have any input?
All is appreciated.
Thanks.

Are sure there is nothing the Event Viewer Application log relating to this?
Check again. Have you tried restarting your SBS server to see if this has
any affect? Have you tried reinstalling the Fax Service from Add/Remove
programs?

Yes, yes, and Kinda.

Yes, there is nothing in the AppLog (even did a test run with it cleared
out, and waited twenty minutes after to be sure there were no stragglers).
Yes, I've restarted the SBS Box, more than once.
I say Kinda, because I've only Reinstalled the Faxing service over itself.
I've never completely Uninstalled, and Reinstalled it.
Are there any other items, services, or applications that will need to be
reinstalled if I do a complete uninstall?
