I changed DSL providers recently (from ADSL to SDSL) which required a new
router. Connection to the Internet from inside the network is just fine.
However, remote access does not work as it should - I can connect into the
network, but cannot connect to any drive using TCP/IP. The only protocol
that works is NETBEUI and I can't connect to the Internet using a browser at
all.

My previous ADSL router was set up as a bridge and I had no remote
connection problems. I had thought to have my provider change over the
router into a bridge, but they are going to charge me to do so. Considering
that the router works from inside the network, I believe that it should be
able to be accessed remotely without switching over to a bridge, but I'm at
a loss as to how to make it happen. Hopefully someone can help.
