Pls excuse this posting here, but this was the closest MS
newsgroup I could find...my company purchased MS's RMS
(Retail Mgmt Sys) software. We run Lawson financials.
And now we discovered that MS RMS does not have any
standard import/export/scheduling functionality, APIs,
etc. for getting data into/from the SQL Server database it
uses. Any suggestions for creating automated, batch-type
extracts from the database?

There's lots of ways to get stuff in and out of SQL Server. What did
you have in mind?
