I have users that restore using Veritas/MS backup utility
on XP Pro box. Whenever they restore to SYSVOL to which
they have all rights except Full Control, SBS 2000 begins
locking up. It appears to use up all memory as there are
no events in the log, and processor usage is normal. The
results are that everything slows up, email, printing
services to the point that even bringing up Task Manager
is next to impossible. I am forced to reboot every time.
I have the latest service packs on both machines,
thorough virus protection (no viruses on either).
Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Just a question, why is the XP stations doing the restore to the servers
sysvol? The reason you would want to do this eludes me.
