Hi all,
I'm having a weird problem with faxmodem.
The modem can connect to data just fine, but if I try to send a fax, it does
dial but then the fax console reports that "the remote machine did not
answer in a timely manner" (or something along those lines). Watching the
modem I can see the Carrier Detect light blinking, and Tx/Rx light also at
times.
I have tried this with two different modems with the same result, so I guess
that pretty much rules out hardware/phone line issues (+ the fact that data
connection works fine).
So it looks like Windows 2003 is having trouble communicating with the modem
when sending a fax. How do I troubleshoot that ?
