Is there any way of hiding the shut down option from a terminal server
session in remote administration mode.

I have placed the "Logoff" icon on the start menu and would like the other
option placed somewhere where it is a little harder to access.

Is this possible?

Thanks
Paul

Yes, there is a group policy option to remove shutdown as well as one to add
logoff. Take a look at the Group Policy section on Desktop Settings as well
as in the Computer Configuration under Terminal Services for related
options. The only trick there is the idea that you can still use the
Security option in the Start Menu | Settings to perform an actual shutdown
when desired.

I've looked for this and can't find it. Looking in the Domain Controller
policy......
