I have a need to remove an old Windows 2000 and an old Windows XP client
computer from an SBS2000 network and reuse them (for a small charity client)
on a small peer to peer network (just the two computers, printer and internet
connection). I wish to retain the existing (licenced) software and don't
need to reformat them and setup from scratch.
I've setup a workgroup so the computer isn't trying to find the SBS server
but it seems to have an IP address not on the 255.255.255.0 subnet and
therfore can't see the router. Is there something hanging around from the
SBS setup / startup that I need to remove to change the computer back to non
SBS mode ?

Help will be much appreciated - Happy New Year
