Hi,

I was wondering if there is software that can monitor serveral servers
remotely. I would like to monitor uptime etc..and would also like to be
notified if the servers go off line.

www.levelplatforms.com is what you're looking for...its not cheap

But here's the deal with monitoring uptime, etc. If the server goes
down...whats going to send the alert?

Hi Thomas:

SBS 2003 has a good deal of monitoring built in, but (even) that will only
tell you when it comes back (up).

Unless you use some sort of utility to ping the server regularly, anything
installed on that server can't send out a message if the server goes down
