I am currently migrating my existing SBS 4.5 to a new SBS
2000 installation and want to relocate User's Shared
Folders to another drive.

On my existing SBS 4.5 system, I have done this and shared
out each sub folder as User1$, User2$ etc. In this way,
each user gets access to his own share, but can't see any
others.

I have tried doing this on the new SBS 2000 installaion,
but the Add User Wizard seems to complain because I've got
rid of the "User" share.

Do I have to have the "User" share, or is there a registry
hack to get around this situation?

Thanks,

Gary

Hi Gary,

Let the SBS do its thing. Users are able to see the other users shares, but
not what is in it.
