Helpme Please!
I have a SBS2000 updated with SP4.

After that i still have the next error.

Whe i try to Open, Rename, Move, or Delete some file.
The the sistems show a popup window:
"There is a Sharing Violation.
The file may be in use for another user"
I checked that file with the SBS Administrador, but does not report that
file in use.

The file is released only until i reboot the Server, but that is not a
solution, is a waste of time and $$$.

What could be the problem.???
Is there a tool to verify used files by users or proceses?

Other PROBLEM is:
Why sometimes some files lost ther ownership?
And cant access them until i assign the ownership.

Thanks in Advance.

It could be some virus or program and it looks like ur server has been
compromised
See if u can access the files while in safe mode.

If u can access the files normally in safe mode then copy the MSCONFIG
utility from Windows XP machine and use it to disable all non-Microsoft
services and applications.

Do a online virus scan from: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Also remove any spyware or adware using a SpySweeper tool from:
http://spysweeper.com/
