Hello there.

I am currently having a problem with mail routing. We have mail sent
to us with an old domain name that we don't use anymore called
*****.demon.co.uk. The service used to be a POP3 mailbox when we had
SBS 4.5.

The mail sent to this address is re-written to *****.ltd.uk (an SMTP
MX Record service) by demon, our ISP. This is fine but what I want to
do, and what I have done in the past, is setup a mailbox with the
*****.demon.co.uk mail going into it and another with the *****.ltd.uk
mail going into it. At the moment the email messages for the account
with the *****.demon.co.uk associated with it goes to which ever
account the *****.ltd.uk email address is assoctiated with. I just
can't understand why it won't work. I set it up on the previous
installation of SBS 2K with no problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any help.

Shane.

why have the mail redirected??
Use the POP3 connector collect the demon.co.uk and use SMTP for ltd.uk
You can then setup POP3 connector to do with the mail as you want.
The SMTP inbound will be redistributed to the appropriate TO: mailbox

Any reason this won't work??
