I am configuring 5 of our XP users to use roaming profiles - as they will be
sharing desks/computers on different days of the week. They will be
switching between 5 differnt Xp Pro machines. So far, I have only configured
the first user and ran into the following issue...

It seemed to go fairly smooth except that none of the users' mapped drives
came across. I had to manually re-map the drives on one of the other
machines he logged into - and I suspect I'll wind up having to do the same
on the other machines he will be logging into.

Is there some issue with mapped drives and roaming profiles? It seems that
once I mapped the drives, they are being retained - but likely only because
that is beiong stored in teh local profile for that user on that particluar
machine? It would be nice if I did not have to go to 5 different machines
for 5 different users (25 profiles)and map drives!!!

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Brad

Why not just create a login.bat script for each user to map the drives?
Their login script will load each time they load the profile on any machine.
