Hi All

Have just installed SBS2003 on to a new server, and are
having problems DNS. Basically setup is a classic 2xNIC's
with DSL router and DNS set to point the server IP on both
NIC's. In this configuration there is no resolution of any
external addresses, if however I change the external NIC
DNS to point to the router things seem to work fine. I
have checked that the ISP's DNS servers are correctly
listed in Forwarders.

Any help much appreciated...... Regards Andy

maybe
An external DNS query may cause an error message in Windows Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=828731

seems to particularly affect servers behind routers (IME/IMHO)
