Win 2k TS and SBS 2k. 2 printers are directly on network.
4 other shared printers attached to various local
workstations. Everyone uses RDC to connect to TS but I am
having problems understanding printing from within a
Terminal Services session. None of the printers are
attached to the TS or SBS.

Do I need to install all the printers on the TS for users
to be able to use them ? or just the printer drivers ?
Do I need to use the Add Printer wizard, when each of the
users logs into a TS session in order for them to use a
particular printer ? or is there any way of making all of
the printers available to all users without having to go
thru the wizard for each users TS session ?

With regards using Group Policy on the SBS to lock down a
TS session, I know I must create an OU but would I
include all computers and users in this OU or just the TS
or just the users ? Possibly a misunderstanding of Group
Policy on my part.

Thanks in advance.

there is Claudio's print redirection paper in teh download section of
mcse2000.com and as for loopback GPOs. I am simply not a fan if you bill by
the hour or never messed with them before...besides, you always miss
something and someone will change something you don't want....that's why I
developed AppLauncher. Make sure you use the latest 5.2 RDP client for
better printer support, that is also available for download.

You add the printer drivers.

I would venture that you would add domain users. If you lock down all
users the domain administrator has a harder time doing things on the
servers.

Brian Madden has co-authored a book on Terminal Services for Windows
2003. Available at Amazon. It does a good job of explaining stuff in
my language. I.E. simple terms.
