Have a problem on our network. We have a server that has a bunch of shared
drives, but lately someone is moving files around and deleting folders. They
need to have full permissions to allow them to create, change the files, but
should not be allowed to move the file from the directory or delete without
permission.
Is there a way to pervent a user from moving the folders on the share, but
still allowing them full access to the share?

Thanks in advance,

Denise

Full Access is Full Access

You should be able to turn on Maximum Logging and find out who is =
deletings items.
Counsel them once, fire them second time.

You can try accessing the "special permissions" button on Security to =
see if you find the right combination of permissions, but this really =
comes down to setting a policy and enforcing it. You'd only have to do =
it once and it would never happen again.
