All Discussion Groups,
Weird situation. I just noticed that I'm missing Remote Desktop Connection
in the Communications folder of Assessories. Microsoft doesn't appear to
have the download. Does anyone know where RDC resides in the setup program?
Thanks, Doyle

Hi Merv, Thank you for responding to my mayday broadcast. I've been
looking desperately through my downloads for an XP-Remote-Desktop-File that I
got from microsoft some time ago. I was able to locate a file named
MSRDPCLI.EXE and it installed right into the proper location of SBS2000.

I tried looking for your reply in the SBS4.5 discussion group and couldn't
find it. Please reply again with instructions on how I may navigate to your
post. It would be very helpful if you would also provide a link in the
SBS2000 post.

Again thanks, Doyle

Please eplain how I can

Hi Doyle,

I'll repost here in the SBS 2000 newsgroup what I posted in the SBS 4.5
newsgroup...

(you've got the correct file - MSRDPCLI.EXE)

SBS 2000 is based on Windows 2000 and, as such, did not come with a Remote
Desktop client like Windows XP. You can download and install the Windows XP
RDP client onto the SBS 2000 server. It will install in the
"Communications" folder.

If this is SBS 2003, the RDP moved to the tool bar and not under
accessories any more (at least that's what I've found)
