After solving the problem with the DNS giving the wrong IP
address of the server, Now it is impossible for clients to
ping a webaddress like: ping www.google.nl

Cannot resolve Hostname

However, Internet explorer works.... (on both the clients
and the server)

Where can I change the DNS settings and in what way so
that host name are resolved insinde the Lan.

Thanks Harpert

At the SBS you can open your DNS console
(Start/Programs/Administrative Tools/DNS) and fix things there. Expand
things until you see the name of your SBServer. Right click on choose
properties. Look for the forwarders tab. You should have the ips of
your isp's dns. At some accounts I have to enter the ip of my router
along with the isp dns for it to work.

Harpert,

If using ISA, then that's the default behavior. To enable ping for lan
clients, you need to enable IP routing.
