OS is xp Pro
Outlook 2003
Server is sbs 2000 With Exchange
Setup is such. all work stations including server
connected to router>router to ISP.
Numerous times through out the day I lose connection with
the exchange server. When it is trying to retrieve data
I can still surf the internet, and access other computer
through the newtwork including the hard drive on the
server. After a period of time another popup screen is
available allowing me to put in my password. After I
enter the information in this field the exchange will
work for several hours but then repeat the problem
again. This is the only work station this is happening
to. I can log onto another work station and not have any
problems with the exchange server. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

The answer to this pretty simple
You're network is not setup optimally (nor safely for that matter) and so
the workstations are having a hard time finding the SBS/Exchange Server

Do yourself a huge favor..
Install a second nic card...attach it to a small hub/switch
Assign a static IP to it in a private IP subnet different from the one used
by the router
Connect all workstations up to that hub/switch

Make sure dhcp is then turned off on the router
Make sure dhcp is turned on and working on the server

Make sure ISA is running on Server

Go to the admin console...re-run the ICW (Connect to the Internet)
Re-Run the Remote Access wizard

Bet you don't have problems with Exchange any more

This is the only work station I'm having problems with.
All the other workstations (9) are working fine. The
setup you are discribing is already in place. All work
stations are hooked to the switch, dhcp is turned off,
server has designated ip address, exchange has designated
ip address, have two nics in server. I will try to rerun
ICW and remote access wizard.

Try turning off Cached Exchange Mode.

Well now I'm confused because your original post said all workstations and
server connected directly to router
