I am on the road and my outlook will not open in offline mode. The fault is
"cannot open information store". I am running WinXP Pro and am usually
hooked to the domain.
If I VPN, I can open Outlook. I just don't want to VPN just to read Outlook
mail. When I VPN I cannot access the Internet, even after disabling SIA
client.
How do I solve this?

You should set the 'enable offline' in Tools, Options, Emailservices. You
will have to be logged in though to let it sychronize.

Got offline going. However....I have some folders under inbox. The
sychronize works fine on these subfolders. But, it has a synchronization
failure working on the inbox and shows 0 mail saved in the inbox.
I have renamed my outlook.ost file...same results.
Any ideas.
