One notebook user on a SBS2000 network has been upgraded to outlook 2003.
All seemed well for a month and then mysteriously last week outlook messages
stopped being updated. In the bottom right of outlook it shows as
"Connected" but instead of showing the "All folders are up to date" message
the time the folder was last updated is displayed.

To get mail the user has to go offline and then do a manual send/receive.

Has anyone any idea what has happened and how I fix?

Thanks
Paul

Have a similar problem on 1 client out of 7 on our network. Cached Exchange
Mode right? Tried deleting and re-creating the OST file as per the error
message [go into the folder list and check on the synch issues - anything
there?] but didn't work. Had to run that one client in non-Cached Exchange
Mode which ain't as good... bah! :-(

Still haven't had a fix for this although OL2K3 apparently works far better
with Exchange 2K3...

Cheers,

David

I don't really want to turn off cached mode as this is a notebook and I
presume it work not have access to messages when not on internal network.

Am I correct in assuming this?

No, you can still synch remotely over a VPN or the like...
