Hello All:
I've got a client that has one lasting gripe about his Outlook....the
AutoPreview is always on. It can be turned off manually (VIEW - AUTOPREVIEW)
but, the next time Outlook is launched, it's back on again.
How do you set that to be Off permanently?
TIA.

Probably the user's view in View/Current View is "Messages with Auto
Preview." When he/she starts Outlook after turning off Auto Preview, it
comes back since that's the chosen view. Instead of turning it off on the
View menu, go to View/Current View and select the one called just
"Messages."

Dave:

Thanks. I did a test here and it worked for me. I'll have the user give it a
spin.
