Hello,

I have an SBS 2000 server configured with two network
cards, and all is fine. I now have a firewall installation
that has been configured to allow VPN, and all is working
well. The result is, I have connectivity to the external
NIC of my SBS server.

Is it possible to therefore use netmeeting to remote
control an SBS client sat on the internal LAN from a
machine connected to the external NIC?

I have mastered the art of remote control via netmeeting
on the internal LAN. I think my questions are more in the
ISA 2000 and routing interface area.

Thank You

Alan

What are you using as a VPN server - a hardware firewall outside your 2nd
nic, or ISA?

Yep.

This shouldn't require any special configuration (unless of course you're
giving remote VPN clients an IP on a different subnet than your LAN). When
you VPN into your server, the remote VPN client is an internal LAN client
for all practical purposes, and thus should be able to connect to any other
LAN client.

(hint hint - try TightVNC instead of NetMeeting . . . )
