Rubbish. Poppycock. Bull. (and any other explicitive SuperGumby would use
;^)

See my reply to Arthur two threads down (subj: Clean Install of SBS2000).
Ghost isn't going to do much to move an SBS installation (or any OS
installation for that matter) unless you're dealing with *identical*
hardware, otherwise you'll have a decent mess on your hands.

Short (simplified) story - you'll need a spare box, a copy of vanilla Win2k
server and a good backup. Setup the spare box as a Win2k DC to maintain
your domain / users / SID. Backup your SBS. Install Win2k on new server,
make it a DC in the domain, upgrade to SBS. Restore Exchange / shares / etc
from backup. Remove spare box. Voila.

>Install a BRIDGE disk. I use Promise 133 PCI controller
and disk on old system. Use Ghost to Copy old system disk
to bridge. Disconnect system disks and reboot old system
on bridge. System will recognize new disk and ask you to
reinstall promise driver. Move promise PCI card and disk
to new system. Set bios to boot from PCI SCSI. Reboot.
System will now install all new drivers. Resolve all
installed hardware in system control panel. Requires many
reboots as new hardware is installed. Be sure that new
system disks are preformatted and running. Now Ghost
Bridge disk to new system disk or Raid. Im using IC7-G P4
2.6 2-512M/DDR433CL2 2Raptor-Raid1 on Sil controller and
new Linksys Gigabit network switch and 1Gig EG1032 on
nodes. Poor Mans server but Gig LAN backbone is the
GREATEST.
