How much RAM can SBS 2000 support?
I remember seeing something about a 2 GB limit.
Is there any point in exceeding 2GB of RAM. If I got 3GB
of RAM would it be wasted.

it would be a huge waste! server and sbs stop at 2GB, Advanced goes to 4GB.

WHAT? Windows 2000 supports 4GB and Advanced supports up to 8GB.....
I have several SBS with more than 2GB and see it being almost all used. I
recommend this when you add SQL or a maxed out SBS network with a heavily
used Exchange.....

Nope... 4 CPUs for Sever not 2. So it is really 4/4 (Server), 8/8 (Adv Srv)
and 32/32 (Datacenter).

Though it is going down to 2 physical CPUs for SBS2003.

That's what I thought but I started researching it and can't find anything.
Do you have a link that says only 2 CPU's?

Take into account this is only a SBS2k3 thing... in Win2k3 is still 4.

PAGE 54-> "Processor Rights. You may use Server Software with up to two CPUs
of the Server at any one time."
