Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide to moving a working SBS2000
installation over to a new server? I am particularly concerned about things
like the additional SBS2k CALs which are on floppy. Nothing from the old
machine will be used in the new one, with the exception of the software
licenses.

I had a quick look around smallbizserver.net and although there is a guide
for 2003, it didn't cover the issues I was looking for. Searching
support.microsoft.com didn't really help, either.

TIA,
Mike.

You can start with the migration upgrade white papers on the MS SBS web
site, or post more specific questions here.

When you move to new hardware, you need an unlock code from MS to reinstall
the CAL disks. The procedure is in a readme.txt file on the disks
themselves. There's no charge and generally no hassle - call when you're
ready to install the CALS and keep the rep on the phone until you
successfully get them installed.
