Microsoft Shared Fax Install Fails

I have a Win2k SBS server and am trying to install Shared
Fax. When performing the install directly from
Disk 2\fax\server\setup.exe the progress bar gets to about
80% then starts to uninstall.

** This has been running on this server before.
** I have rebuilt it, now it will not install.

Errors Reported in the event log.

Product: Microsoft Shared Fax -- Installation operation
failed.

The description for Event ID ( 32083 ) in Source (
Microsoft Shared Fax ) cannot be found. The local computer
may not have the necessary registry information or message
DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The
following information is part of the event: Microsoft
Modem Device Provider.

Hi Cheyne,

In reference to your fax install issue, let's try the following steps. If
it's installed, un-install the Shared Fax component via Control Panel
Add/Remove programs. Then delete the Shared Fax key from the
Hkey_Local_Machine\CurrentControlSet\Services registry key and reboot the
server. After you have logged onto the server, insert CD 1 and launch the
Small Business Server setup. Continue through setup and select Shared Fax
from the components screen. Let us know if setup doesn't complete.
